Being able to share with students the experiences and advice I wish I had known as a young musician.

Your musical focus/instruments you play: Vocals, guitar, piano, ukulele
When did you start pursuing music? When I was 9 years old.
What is your musical background?
I’ve studied classical, jazz, and finger style guitar under various instructors since age 9, and I’ve studied with several vocal coaches since age 10. I’ve additionally participated in musical theatre for a large portion of my life. I’ve been writing music since the age of 13.

Lizzy McAlpine, Noah Kahan, Dodie, Steffany Gretzinger

What is your “deserted island” album? "Give Me a Minute" by Lizzy McAlpine
What is your favorite venue or event that you’ve performed?
The Bitter End with “Songbirds”, a female songwriter event.
Locally, I enjoy performing at Aurora Brewing Co.
What’s the best piece of musical advice you’ve received in your career thus far?
Give yourself permission to be bad at something before you get good at it.
