Vocals, guitar, piano, ukulele.

When did you start pursuing music?
When I was 8 years old. 

What is your musical education?
I studied guitar formally from age 8 to 24, and I have studied voice since age 10 and continue to train with a teacher today.  

What are your musical influences/favorite bands?
Lizzy McAlpine, Joni Mitchell, MARO.

What is your “deserted island” album?
Djesse, Vol. 2 by Jacob Collier.

What is your favorite venue or event that you’ve performed?
I really love small intimate venues like Small World Books and Vineyard Community Space (both of Rochester). My favorite would be a house concert that was performed at a small “venue” called Lu & Dan’s. 

What’s the best piece of musical advice you’ve received in your career thus far?
Practice with a metronome!

What is your favorite part of coaching at ROC Star Academy?
Being able to share with students the experiences and advice I wish I had known as a young musician
